Temporal Bone Dissection workshop at Ghazi Al-Hariri Hospital for Surgical Specialties
ENT Department at Ghazi Al-Hariri Hospital for Surgical Specialties / Medical City, in collaboration with the Iraqi ENT Society organized a Temporal Bone Dissection workshop at 30 – 31 OCT -2025, with the participation of 29 postgraduate residents enrolled in the Iraqi and Arab Board programs from various training centers in Iraq.
The course included scientific and anatomical lectures covering the detailed anatomy of the temporal bone, followed by hands-on training conducted in Dr. Derb Al-Moussawi’s temporal bone lab at Ghazi Al-Hariri Hospital for Surgi.
This training aims to enhance surgical skills and anatomical knowledge among ENT residebts, as part of the continuing medical education programs
At the conclusion of the course, participants praised the excellent organization and the high educational value of the program, emphasizing the importance of such training activities in improving practical and specialized surgical expertise and supporting the ongoing development of medical education in the country
